Forza trailering questions

Post by Gnarg »

I ordered a new Forza which will be arriving this week and need to trailer it to its new home.
Anyone had any experience trailering a Forza?
If so are there rear attachment points u would suggest attaching soft loops to?
Will handle bar Canyon Dancers work with the front flaring? Also if some one is using Canyon Dancers which size would you suggest 28 inch or 32 inch? Any issues with bending the hanndle bars using Canyon dancers with a Forza? Any other trailering products anyone would suggest that work well with the Forza?

Any other tips or experience you can share regarding securing and transporting a Forza by trailer would be greatly appreciated. I searched the Forza forum before posting but dident come accross anything.

I trailered mine several times. I used to straps across the seats perpendicular to the bike with towels under them so nothing would get chaffed plus two on the handlebars and it rode fine. I also had eyelets so the wheels could not slide sideways.

I also trailered my PCX but bought a Rage 600 steel hitch carrier that works great for its weight.

Thanks for sharing. I got my Forza today and there does not appear to be a spot on the rear of the scooter to attack soft loops so your approach of strapping across the seat sounds like a good alternative. Could you provide a little more detail of where the eyelits were placed and how you straped to them so the bike would not slide sideways?

Thanks again tbin930

My 14' tandem axle trailer has angle iron side and front fences and eyelets I installed so you can attach ratchet straps just about anywhere. The back ramp when up also can be attached to. I have a row of eyelets down the middle lengthwise and then use the side fences. I have used a simple short strap from the rear wheels to a close eyelet or have gone to each side at the bottom which is better IMO.

I used the handle bar mounts and rear shocks down low for attaching with ratcheting straps on my yearly long 950 mile trailer ride to the cottage . I also put some masking tape on the plastis fairing so the straps wouldn't damage the paint , 2 trips so and no damage!
