Front spring diameter
Question to those who have installed new front fork springs.
In case you can still find your original spring laying around, can you please measure the outer diameter and the non-compressed length for me please?
I want to buy some front fork cartidge emulators, and I need the measurements to do some calculation before I order/start to pull the legs of my daily driver PCX.
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Front spring diameter
2013 manual specs the spring free-length at 291.8 mm or 11.49 inches.

Thanks for the info. In this topic I was asking about the diameter rather than the length. Can you please look up in the 2013 manual how much oil needs to be filled in the forks? I only have a 2011 manual but it states different spring length. Thanks.

I have installed YSS PD valves. It is a copy of the original Racetec Gold valve cartridge emulators and do quite some magic with the front suspension.

Re: Front spring diameter
O.P.. your first question asked the spring free-length, you're welcome.
The 2013 manual calls for 122 +/- 2.5 CC's of fluid. They recommend 10W (SS-8).
In a collapsed fork that amount of fluid should be 75mm from the top of the fork tube.
Good luck.

OP: Just curious if you've gone through installing the YSS PD valve and how it turned out. Can you post any update?
