Rear fender eliminator

Post by kar120c »

I hate the bulky plastic rear fender of my Forza and I want to remove it to install a new tuning Licenser holder.
If someone has tried this mod I wish to know how difficult is to remove the stock fender?
Without a the fender anyone has tried to drive in rain and tell me if dirt reach pilot or passenger?

Fenders are a legal requirement.

They aren't there to keep you clean, they are there so anyone following you can see you.

If you do 60 in a Storm the spray ejected out the back of a motorbike hides it.

In my country , Italy you can remove it just that the license plate is not tilted more than 30 degrees, is lit and there is the reflector.
About the other question, if I remove the fender I'll install this http://www.kdprojectracing.com/product/ ... -demo-moto

The new one looks ridiculous.
Why would you take the standard one off and replace it with that stupid looking thing?
Just doesn't make any sense.

Just by looking, with judicious use of a hacksaw one could retain the licence plate and reflector and lose the actual fender
