Not something I've experienced and I don't have first hand experience with this tool but for those of us with bigger bikes and periodic fork maintenance that can cost plenty for new seals when they weep this 5 dollar invention can't be easily dismissed and seems logical. Watch the video and fav the site just in case that day comes because you can do this first and then seek professional help.
Might be a sticky in technical help if this thing actually works.
