seat conversion?

I'm approaching the first service of my Forza 125 (500 miles) and I love my Forza as much as i did when i purchased it 8 months ago, however one thing that bothers me every time i ride it, is the seat, it could do with being 6" longer or just one height all the way through from front to back the to enable me to stretch my legs just a little bit more so that my knees are not too close to the handlebars when performing tight turns.
On a plus note I have just purchased a TUCANO URBANO TERMOSCUD from an online supplier, because i can't stand wearing waterproof over trousers and all the fuss they take, to put on and take off.

I had the same problem initially, I needed just a few more legroom inches, and to NOT hit the Handlebar with my knees.

I removed the Butt Bumper, giving me about another 3"-4" of legroom, and rolled the Handlebars forward just a bit, to clear my knees in turns. Works PERFECT!!!

Im in manchester v8vor, you might want to chat with http://www.motorcycleseatworks.co.uk/, they are only in bradford. Ive had a few seats re modded by them, cheap and fantastic work. Reducing the thickness of the bumstop will give you a bit more room.
Ive also moved the bars forward and Im using an airhawk seat pad, Im 5ft10ins, and enough room for me.

Blackbeard, what is that round thing at the top (back) of your seat, and how is it being held on? It looks like an ideal back support. Right now on my PCX I have had to add a piece of foam in order to give me the back support I need for longer rides. I think that might be a better answer.

I just found the Givi EA107 seat bag. Is that what yours is? Yours looks like it is made from a waterproof material, whereas the Givi one comes with a rain cover. Hmmm...I am not sure that I would carry enough stuff to require yet another bag, but it is a thought.

Yes, it is a Union Jack, along with 21 other Countries I visited while I was in the U.S. Navy. Unfortunately, I never made it to Scotland, and wanted to, but was close a few times.

Biker's Friend Roll Bag. Comes in a variety of sizes. IIRC, the website is bikersfriend.com. I had this on my Burgman 400, years ago, and brought it out of the attic when I got the Forza.

When I removed the Butt Bumper, I used the existing Seat Holes, to tie it down with Bungees and Zip Ties, that come with the Bag. There is also a Lumbar Support Pad that is included, that can be positioned as needed with the Velcro on the Backpad and Lumbar Pad.

I use the Bag mainly for a Backrest, but also carry a Spare Clear Faceshield, First Aid Kit, and Bungees/Straps.

Waterproof Pleather, and holds it shape with a Center Core Piece of PVC Tube, running the length of the bag.

I share your complaints about the Forza's seat. I fixed mine by going to a specialist seat builder (here in Australia but I'm sure you can find similar businesses where you live). The link below is to a shared picture library which will show you what my new seat look like.

My seat is a huge improvement over the standard seat but could be even better if it were not for the underlying seat base. From memory, I think the cost of the seat re-upholstering was about AUD600 (money well spent in my view). Honda sell a two tone seat for the Forza 125 and it costs £90-£95, so i've asked my local honda dealer to order me one,plus Roger at Crewe honda has a contact to customise the seat to my exact requirements, I'll keep you posted with with the results as soon as i get the seat back.
On another note after fitting the Termoscud i swear it's given me an extra 6 mph on the top end (76 mph) plus it keeps the worst of the cold and wet weather off my legs. thanks for all the ideas guys.
