There was a couple of them that seemed quite unstable on their bikes. Looked like a few first time riders. Be careful out there folks.

Group ride gone Bad
Look! Dangling feet everywhere! Get them up on the rafters! Riding to close to one another.
Look "Where you want to go!" She was fixed on the construction zone. She got a closer look alright
...and perhaps a bit too much throttle in the turn along with that fixation.
Is it me, or did the guy that tripped get more of your viewing attention? I found myself watching him more than the crash victim. What the heck! He tripped, then what? Geez, I almost thought he passsssed (out?)
Also noticed that the Victim was fussing with something just prior to the (crash) turn and waving her left hand. She lost her concentration at that point she was distracted.
Very sad. What was going to be a fun in the Sun ride with friends went sour. You gotta feel bad for the lot of them. Accidents are upsetting to everyone present.
@ homie - yes, good choice

Embarrassment to the scooter community, if you haven't grown up on two wheels please take a 25.00 course before setting out in a group or for that matter by yourself. I guess we can take notice the guy who filmed himself floundering around in the footage has no pride and posted this... pride is the devils number one most cherished tool. I have second thoughts about my group rides coming up this season after looking at this cluster... there might be a MaGoo in the lot.

Back in high school when I was thinking of a 49cc, I almost crashed one from the dealer like that. Lol.

Re: Vespa, signs, woman, man, shrubs - down, but OK
I have seen riders get confused in a turn before, mostly those who are new to riding. In this case the rider made a very wide turn and was not controlling the throttle. There is an old man in my subdivision who turns very wide out of our subdivision in his car. Until I saw his driving I had never seen anyone take 3 lanes to turn left, and even that was not enough. Several times he had to stop and back up in order to make the turn. Those are the types of drivers who should not be driving. That scooter rider must be one of those type.
