Honda vs Givi Accessories
For rear trunks......Honda or Givi (E370). I don't know what you all think on quality, etc. also looking at the windshield too.

I'm not sure if it's the same in the US or not, but, in the UK the Honda top boxes are Givi.
Prices can differ by quite a bit between having a "givi" badge or "Honda" badge.
I'd personally say Givi all the way they are quality products.

It's the same in the USA too -- the mount plates are IDENTICAL. I haven't looked at the Honda version of the topcase (it was too small), but I think it's also a Givi.

The Honda box and convertor plate are Givi but there are major differences in the Honda/Givi rear rack and how it mounts to the frame.
The Honda one is much neater but here in the UK, hugely more expensive.

There must be at least three different rear racks available. One is from Kivi (with the "ugly brackets"). Honda has a plastic rack that needs an adapter plate (from Kivi; as seen in my post above), and an all metal one that mounts Honda's own topbox directly (no adapter needed). I guess the latter is the same as on the SH line of scooters (such as the SH300).
I have learned from my mistakes, and I am sure I can repeat them exactly.

Yeah, pretty confusing from Honda. The plastic one they used on the PCX 125 is not nearly as sturdy as the new one for the 150. The box is crazy expensive, though much improved from the old one. I stuck with a combination of the Givi E370 box with the new Honda mount, which is very clean and sturdy. I've seen Givi plastic plates almost identical to the Honda OEM one GN2 posted too. It's all over the board.
For what it's worth, the flimsy plastic construction of ALL of them is why the load limit for a topbox is so small. If the mounting options were like Taz's rack, you could easily put 2 or 3 times that weight on there.

It's not the construction of the box or the rack or the mounts which is the problem, it is the vehicle's own weight limit which I believe is 10kg?

I don't think there's anything flimsy about this rack. It looks sturdy enough to support the weight of another smallish passenger temporarily. I nicked the link to these nice pictures from PCX Commuter's tutorial. I hope he doesn't mind my copyright violation.

It is, but is a pillion 10kg? Handling won't suffer much from more load. I can actually do some calculations and prove this to you (if you want), but unless you're putting well over 30kg in there, it won't affect handling any more than a passenger would. The PCX isn't exactly a wheelie machine.

I'm sure you can do calculations and suchlike but you will never convince me that adding 30kg to the rear rack of a PCX will leave the handling the same as before.

I would suggest that they endorse it because the handling remains acceptable with a passenger.
Big weights on the racks of lightweight bikes is a proven recipe for thoroughly evil handling.
