Riding question
Hey guys when I ride my bike and accelerate there seems to be a engine knock that is similar to when a car starts up. Is it normal. When slowing down the clutch would disengage and it would go little bit liu see but goes to normal after. Thanks

Is the bike running ok apart from that? Ride the bike and just keep an eye on it?
Can I be banned from these types of post soon?

Re: Riding question
I think you are describing the rollers . They make a rattling noise as you accelerate and the clutch disengagement is normal.

Re: Riding question
Rollers will make some noise, I don't know that I'd call it a knocking exactly. Perhaps a putter or even a mild rattle, but not a knocking. Knocking or tapping is more likely a valve issue, but would continue throughout the power band, becoming more pronounced as the engine revs. If it's only at the beginning of acceleration and on deceleration, then yeah, it's likely just the rollers.
Of course, this is all guesswork since we can't hear the noise ourselves.

Re: Riding question
It does not increase with speed. Sound is the same upon acceleration.
