Does anyone know how long the 'Oil Change Light' will remain on if I don't change the oil?
I did my first oil change before the required 1,000 km's, now that I have just hit 1,000 km the light has come on.

I found this with regard to oil change:
"To reset the indicator, press and hold RESET button while turning the ignition switch to the ON position, and keep holding RESET button for more than 3 seconds."

The oil light once lit stays on till it gets reset.
Once reset it will come on every 8000 miles.
If it gets reset after the oil change is done, it lights up after the next oil change is due.
