FALL RIDING
suppose to be 27 degrees tonite in our area. just installed the tall givi windsheild for my cold weather riding. seems to work very well with little buffeting and some protection around your hands. usually ride until it snows. have heated jacket and gloves i hook up to a battery under my seat and recharge when i'm done. this way it does not tax the charging system. is there anyone else out there as nuts as i am? fall riding this year has wonderful colors in upstate ny

Re: FALL RIDING
I love fall riding. The colors are so vivid and when it isn't too blustery it is great to ride in. Enjoy yourself. :-)

Re: FALL RIDING
Be careful of wet leaves laying on road as I would imagine that they could be very slippery.

Re: FALL RIDING
I ride through the winter--only when the snow is actually flying do I do the 4 wheeler. I wouldn't ride a heavy, unwieldy bike in the cold season, but the PCX is so capable of accurate handling and is light enough that in the unlikely event I slide and fall, I can pick it up even when traction is minimal--I have done this several times so I speak with authority. I don't have heated anything, but I have a windshield of sorts--it is high but not particularly wide. It does a good job of keeping frigid air off my face, but doesn't protect the hands. I use bike mitts for that. They look like the bad place but feel heavenly.
I don't ride strictly for transportation--I ride for sanity's sake. My bikes are my psychotherapists. The are great for SAD relief.
