Hey guys my 2013 pcx 125 seems to be vibrating harshly while taking off after about 25kmph it smoothes out.
What might be the issue?

Usually, the driven pulley (be it loose/dry bearings, or glazed shoes, or bad springs).
Remove the belt cover and have a look.
Seems they all come from the factory almost grease-dry...

If you often take off slowly with gentle throttle action, that causes clutch glazing (I and many others suffered that). If so, try being more agressive on take off (no need for full throttle!) and see if it improves over a day or so.

+1 on what Iceman said. That usually works for me. But it does get dusty under that cover and you can also take the cover off from time to time (easy enough to do) and blow/wipe the dust out. Sometimes it just goes away by itself, but in any case it's usually not a sign of mechanical failure, just dirt and glazing. Worry not.

mileage is about 6000km but i think the meterboard was replaced.
might this happen because of the drive belt?

harder throttle input does reduce it somewhat, iceman wrote:If you often take off slowly with gentle throttle action, that causes clutch glazing (I and many others suffered that). If so, try being more agressive on take off (no need for full throttle!) and see if it improves over a day or so.
but the it still happens when taking off slowly (in stop start traffic)
Re: Judering and vibrations while taking off!
hey guys an update on the juddering issue!
i took the bike to my local mechanic
he removed the belt cover, belt, pulleys etc and hit it with compressed air
some black soot did come out
he greased all of it and put it back together
and it was very smooth like factory fresh
but the next morning the issue came back slowly and by the end of the day it was back to its juddering self!!
anybody know whats going on?
