Perhaps he is leaving the spark plug where it is and is changing the bike?

Nope. I have heard tales of these types of mechanics. They have to take the bike apart to lower the weight, so that when they get to the spark plug they can turn the bike counter-clockwise while holding the spark plug firmly. This is a known way of doing things in some lesser known parts of Europe, and maybe even some of those little islands out in the Pacific. Someone there once read that you must hold the spark plug steady while turning it, but they were not sure what "it" was. Thus, the 'bassackward' removal process was born. :-)

I'm giving thumbs up for no butt crack. Somebody has already replied that you have an access to the plug without all that. Yep, one of them hold the plug while the other two turn the bike around and around. "Honda, change PCX"
It's all good!

Looks like he had done a belt /roller replacement prior to the plug install. I think he had the bottom panel off to get clean access to the Variator cover. ? My hunch

I gave up when I heard "5/8s". Argh, roughians! I hope he's not using those awful 3/5fl.oz stock rollers...
