What RPM is Forza doing at 100 kmh?
Hi all,
I'd be grateful if anyone can advise.
I am wondering whether the 300 might be a worthy second scooter to my PCX150, for the odd freeway run that's beyond the PCX's ability.
Thanks,
Ade

Roughly speaking my Forza seems to do 50 mph at 5000 rpm, 60 mph at 6000 rpm and 70 mph at 7000 rpm.

The Forza is kind of expensive just for an odd freeway run.arl5370 wrote:Hi all,

Personally I would look for something substantially faster than a Forza for the Freeway. That being said I just rode mine on a 4 lane mountain highway that has a posted speed of 120 kmph at 4000 feet. It was a violently windy wet day. I think I have whiplash.
I went as slow as 80 kmph in some parts. Everyone else can just bugger off and go around me.
But I am crazy and old and suicidal and having lots of fun. Why live to 100 if you aren't having fun.

Yes, I have the SV650 for longer runs on the freeway, was just wondering.

Re: What RPM is Forza doing at 100 kmh?
See a Forza is just marginally faster than a PCX but I bet a SV650 is substantially faster than the PCX.
I was thinking of upgrading from my Forza to a Silverwing. But I would only gain about 30 kmph and that takes me into illegal speeds. Just not worth it.

Something to consider, an SV650 has three times the power a Forza does.
If you already have an SV650 and a PCX there's absolutely no point buying a Forza 300

Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong

Except that the Forza is a great scooter and is very comfortable at 65-70 mph all day...

A twin cylinder silvering is much more appropriate than a forza especially you have pcx.
However, the silvering need to be upgraded. Honda, come on!
