Yeah, you totally suck with the bling you guys can get for peanuts. Heck I would pay the premium but it's such a hassle to shop from here. And if something needs returned forget it. But we have civilization yet, well for as couple more years anyway LOL

Just Ask kramnala. Btw where is kramnala? Havent seen him posting here for a while
He went under with the last monsoon trying to snorkel his PCX to work.
For the price it looks good! Reminds me of one by National Cycle.

There's some videos on YouTube about how to cut, polish, restore different kinds of plastics. You have to fish around for one that may help you. Different plastics have different methods and tools used.
You could also put some kind of trim on the edge but the thing is it could interfere with your horizon line of site. . .or visually be a PITA. It depends.
Here's an example of some trim material but you really have to look for what would work for you. Different materials and different sizes. I've seen where a lot of people use it for covering sharp edges on metal stuff and basically augment it with Gorilla Glue and the like. I don't have any personal experience doing a project like this but maybe someone who has can chime in. I was fortunate that the windshield I ordered from Rifle for my Suzuki came through excellent. . .was well made with smooth edges.
A taller windshield could work against you in a hot humid Thai weather. Less wind blowing on my chest means I'll wnd up a little sweaty after the ride. But its quiet and I like it. Im not sure if it's true, but I feel the pcx getting a little stable at higher speeds with the windshield.
@pcx150rider
Thanks, ill look into it. But honestly, i might just let it be as it is not really noticeable unless you look really close.
Everything looks better from the inside of a motorcycle helmet...
If you like taller windscreens that's probably the darkest, shiniest one we've ever seen right there Mr Chin. Hang on to your original for resale. btw how would you like to feel the wind at 140 mph on this? That's when you find out what your helmet designer was thinking. Did you know when auto's were first being invented people thought you would burn up at 50 mph. I guess the top end on a horse wasn't that much

Their taller windshield is much clearer. Kinda have mixed feelings about the new screen, I love how it's a little quieter ride now, but the lack of wind hitting me is a little bad in this humid Thai weather. Will probably give a little more time before making a decision.
Stock shield is being kept for sure.
BTW, That's a beautiful Buell you got right there.
@youyou
yeah a little sanding might sort that rough spots out, thanks.

I think I saw one of those today. . .but he didn't return the wave. That's OK. . .he was probably awestruck by the PCX.
Talk about 140 MPH. . .You aren't kidding about the aerodynamics of the helmet designs. I remember one time on my Bandit I started to feel like I was in that accelerator thing in the movie "Spies Like Us" and my face started to distort. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C391Z0D9yyY
