Happy end to a sad story
My 2015 PCX125 was stolen recently. Thieves came to my house and used boltcutters on the padlock chaining the bike down to my driveway.
Ten days later the bike was found, being ridden by some worthless little scrote about 15 miles away on the other side of the city. The ignition and all the plastics around it were smashed, there were multiple dings to the bodywork, false number plates had been applied and for some reason a new back wheel.
The insurance company paid out, and today I collected my new 2017 PCX125 - it's bright red and here's the pic. On top of that, apparently the little scrote will be in court soon. See - I said there was a happy ending!

Little sods!!
Result that the insurance paid off and you got a brand new PCX. Does it not fit inside your side entrance? Two little so and so's ran off with my habana last summer although I got lazy with locking it up. Have since put a 9ft gate at the side of my house and disc lock and chain it. If they really want it am sure they could still get it but protects it alot more. Have fun on your new bike wish we could catch them and give them a hiding!

Happy ending indeed!
Looks good. I see you got the bigger Honda wind screen.
I hope they send the scoundrel that stole it to jail.

It's not a side entrance - it's a shed and it's not quite wide enough.
I went for the higher screen because I ride all year round. It makes such a difference in winter.

Re: Happy end to a sad story
That gate looks about the same width as my gate. I fold in the mirrors, and as I walk it through the the gate I have to angle in one handlebar first, push it in a little more and then angle in the other side. It barely fits. However, if you can't get it in there, then you need to do some heavy security. I see where the front tire is chained down, but what about the back, or frame? Do the same thing you did on the front tire on the back or frame. Put the part you sink into the ground into it close to the fence so that it won't be in the way...or something like that. Or you could put an alarm on the bike.
You just want to make it such a pain to get at that they will just move on to someone else's bike.

Scrote probably get to do some gardening or litter picking rather than jail.
Four decades on two wheels has taught me nothing, all advice given is guaranteed to be wrong
