the 2012 one should fir the newer 2015, same engine as the 2012 is ESP, therefor its giving nearly 10mph extra with only a screen added?

No experience with there variator a in the slightest, all I know is they cost a fair bit.

most fuel these days is stupidly clean burning anyway! seriously lol theres nothing premium will do better!

higher octane for higher compression to avoid pre detonation, won't make a single bit of difference in a PCX

4000 for a 125 scooter isn't really an amazing selling point, and take the meaning away from cheap motoring..

the CBR125, yes its a bike but still its one hell of a motorcycle, sits comfortable at 70mph, and still only retails at £3599 (UK)

Of course, you are absolutely right. They have balanced off power for economy and IMO they were right to do so. To me the engine was fairly under tuned by honda to gain it's massive mpg which is obviously the selling point of this scooter, I also believe it was under geared.

I suppose your both right, all I was trying to get across is I have a massive history with engines big and small, and it seems honda have really toned this one down, personally if honda wanted to I think they could have easily had this engine run the full learner legal 15hp, with a 65mph cruise spee...
