Re: Honda PCX Manual
SECoda just posted this link elsewhere helping a member find a service manual. I decided to copy that post and place it here as well. Thanks for that SECoda :P There is a link somewhere where these manuals are only $30. I got both the 2013 PCX 150 and now Forza 300 for $30 each plus $6 shipping. Fo...

Re: Random spots on right side panel plastic are melting!
gn2: I was just going to write that. The location doesn't point to damage caused by something flying from road. It looks like it is melted, but the place is strange and it definitely looks like it is from boots. What do you wear while riding? No footwear with metal on it?

Re: Rejecting my PCX125
You should look into commercial/warranty related law. Here in Slovakia, the seller has 30 days to resolve issue reported in warranty. If he fails to resolve it, he has to pay you back the full price of item you bought. And it goes further: If you report the same issue 3 times, you can ask for a refu...

Re: Leg wind deflectors - where/how to order?
Hi recutibi, no, I decided to not order them. They aren't the cheapest and I didn't want to try if the eshop still has them, etc.
So we have all the info here and someone can try to order them

Re: Problem with the wind
Today I experimented a bit, because it was way too windy here. My conclusion is, that maximum safe side wind for PCX is around 20 m/s (40 knots). It is this windy here for 2 days now, with stable 10 m/s and 20 m/s in burst and today I almost fell while I was doing 60 km/h and hit by strong side wind...

I didn't experience this, but I would advise you to not shut down the engine. It is water cooled, so if you leave it in idle, water pump will pump the coolant and ensure better cooling.

Re: 2014 PCX 125 White vs Matte Black
Yes, White is much better for keeping clean looking. Dark colors (I have metallic black PCX and dark red car) are difficult to keep clean and shiny. You can easily see every little scratch on dark colors, so you have to wax it a lot and even little dust or dirt make bike/car look very dirty. Figurat...

Re: warped rotor
Good to hear you didn't damage anything else :) I got one advice for you, while using a disc lock, always park your bike in the way, where you have to go back from a parking spot (with front towards wall, curb, etc.). This means, you won't be able to use engine's power to leave the spot and you won'...

Look cool, I checked the prices and ended up disappointed, 500-600$ is a lot for it
But it is definitely the coolest helmet ever seen

Re: Has anyone thought of increasing engine to 175cc?
I thought about that, but after considering all costs I came to the conclusion, that it would be cheaper to:
- upgrade my driver's license to "big" bikes
- sell PCX
- buy a second hand bike/scooter with 400-500 cc engine

Re: Digital Fuel Gage
Almost every fuel gauge does this. I don;t know why exactly, but most possibly it is due to shape of fuel tank (in attachment) where the gauge measures only level of fuel, not the actual amount. I read there are some more advanced gauges which use transistors/microchips to convert this and they show...

Re: Malfunctioning Gas Guage PCX125
The fuel gauge is not very reliable, when it is in half, I know there is about 1/3 of fuel and then it goes down fast. Therefore I use trip meter to measure, I know I can do safely 200 km per tank. My record is 214: https://www.spritmonitor.de/en/detail/569523.html

Re: Seat change
It looks gorgeous on your bike!
Here in EU the seats are expensive (above 100 € with shipping), so I had to put my original seat to upholster and for 35 € it will become humpless

Re: Re Winterize PCX 150 ...
I recommend you to empty the gas tank and then fill it with fresh fuel. Fuel will degrade over time and many guys have problems with starting after a long time (2+ months) and they are able to start after they change the fuel. Pulling battery out is the right idea and mice...I don't have experience ...

No, I would say that majority of PCX 125 for EU countries were made in Italy. All delivered to Slovakia and Czech republic were from Italy.

Re: How-To: Install a 12v Accessory Socket
I did this today, thank you maddiedog for a nice guide :) However, I found that fuel cover is different on 2013 model, it opens in opposite direction and opening mechanism can be detached from plastic only from bottom side. So you have to remove the middle panel, turn it over and then you can remove...

Ok, I didn't know :) Then it makes the modification harder, but not impossible :) Front brake caliper could be repainted and for stripes he can use Puig stickers: http://www.motiun.es/en/19810-kit-de-pegatinas-adhesivas-calcas-pcx-10--12--.html Not the same, but similar. Re: in 1000km
Not faster than 30 km/h? Maybe with 50 cc scooter
On 125 it is recommended to not drive faster than 80 during first 500 km and then continuously raise the maximum speed. At 1000 km you can ride with full throttle.
