Re: City grips vs. OEM dunlops
The original dunlops dont last as long as the michelin city grip , but the dunlops have better grip even 90 % worn compared to the michelin city grip at 65% worn , i had the michelin city grips on a honda sh 150 and it was great ,but on the forza 300, im constantly breaking loose the rear tire on a ...

Re: Forza trailering questions
I used the handle bar mounts and rear shocks down low for attaching with ratcheting straps on my yearly long 950 mile trailer ride to the cottage . I also put some masking tape on the plastis fairing so the straps wouldn't damage the paint , 2 trips so and no damage!

Re: Forza 300 Rear brake pads
When I replaced the rear tire I serviced the rear brakes ( clean pads sliders) and checked the pads for wear they had lots of life ,they are original pads and I have 10000 kilometres or 6000 miles.

Re: over 40MPH without a screen?
After owning my St 1300 and it's beautiful power windshield, I will try to install a tall windshield on any of my bikes, I really like the optional tall windshield on the forza ,the small windshield does nothing and is a real pain to clean under it , I drove maybe 300 kilometers with the small winds...

Re: Forza 300 Valve Keeper Let Loose
Most of the time in automotive honda gets the dealer to estimate rebuilding the engine and also a estimate to replace the engine , it's usually cheaper to replace the engine but on motorcycles it's easy to replace the cylinder,( jug) but if it was me I would want a new engine as what I said earlier ...

Re: a little rough or buzz at 4250-4400 rpm
Hi John Yes most likely it's coming from the engine , a single cylinder, with a larger displacement will vibrate more then a single smaller displacement engine , a lot of engines use a counter weight to minimize the vibration, at idle you will notice a slight vibration this is normal. Then as rpm in...

It sounds like your talking about a topic( slight vibration at 68 mph .....anyone) already covered before ,it's the resonance frequency on this scooter others have complained about it .

Re: Forza 125 0-120kph
My sh 150 will do 120kph until it will hit the rev limiter,of course this is in a full tuck and its a 2 valve head design and about 11 to 1 compression ratio but a four valve design will breathe better so more top speed, as long as the gearing is good not to hit the rev limiter.

And drive none stop 1459 kilometers to the east coast it takes me about 17 hours stopping just for fuel and to eat, plus washrooms, I have done this once on the forz...

Re: Forza 300 Valve Keeper Let Loose
Sure hope this is a isolated case, normaly with Hondas there built is consittant so if one has it they all do! As far a over revving the engine it shouldnt happen as the ecu cuts fuel to limit engine rpm and since its a cvt trans with auto clutch that rules out customer down shifting a gear or two t...

Re: Forza 300 Speedo inaccurate
If it was the case that my GPS was under reading then about twenty other vehicles I have tested are reading too low ,so my conclusion is the speedo on my forza reads too high as like what others have said the manufactures usually calibrate the speedo to read too high rather then too low , but what I...

Re: scooters in the snow
In canada one province ( Quebec ) has a law that ( cars motorcycles ,scooters )anything driving on there roads must have snow tires between the month of nov1 to end of March (I think these dates are correct ) even if the roads are bare ,no snow or ice on them, and it's nice and sunny , I thought tha...

Funny how you were the only one with your speedo reading inaccurately... And yes, Honda is now one of the best as far as it relates to speedo accuracy. A class action lawsuit will do that.... http://www.autoblog.com/2007/02/19/odo-uh-oh-honda-extending-warranties-on-6-million-cars/ Honda has decide...

Sorry to hear of your tire problem , I have put a michelin city grip on the rear of the forza 150/70-13 and have only have had good experiences with it, better ride, more accurate speedo ,4 kph off compared to original tire 140/70-13 was off by 6 kph, as for grip same or better but will not know unt...

Re: Forza Rear Brake Dragging?
Since the forza has a parking brake on usa built scooters and some other countries there will be more drag on the rear wheel as you have slight drag from parking brake plus a little more drag from rear disc brake pads , so pushing the forza around will be a little harder then a similar motorcycle wi...
