I`m definitely not slim and I have reached 110 on my PCXJohnL wrote:Believe me alesiajade top speed is around 110kph on the Oz model. You may get an extra 2 or 3kph if you are a slim type, but that's about it.

Re: What`s under your seat?
I keep a Swiss Army Knife under my seat compartment ,always. With the tool kit. What do you always have stored? Nothing. Why do you need a knife. Or a toolkit? It`s a multi-tool , not just a knife. I can cut fruit with a knife, bandages with a scissor, screwdriver for a quick tightening , toothpick...

Re: Yamaha tops PCX
I ride my PCX over mountains and hills daily. I must say I love being able to change foot positions going down a long slope. It makes for a very comfortable ride. Its a feature I give thanks for daily. Even pulling into my garage is a steep slope. I don`t think I would enjoy the position of the Yama...

Re: First 2015 model in South Africa.
Nice one DC. I got my 2013 pcx150 a few months ago. I was very much up in the air whether to wait or not. None of the Cape Town dealers could tell me when they would bring in the new model. My first mod was a bigger windscreen and Kappa 42l top box. There's a shop called advrider in unit 7, Northga...

Re: I broke my right hand
I seen a hand specialist. He advised against a pin. There is a risk of infection that could result in a stiffening of the finger. As I am a musician, just resetting the bone in a cast would be safer. The worse that could happen is that the knuckle may be slightly out of place but I`d have full mobil...

Re: I broke my right hand
Ouch Bro! sorry to hear that... winter in South Africa can't be too bad can it? Throttle or left hand? Winter weather can get quite stormy in Cape Town .Hence the historical name "Cape of Storms" which is a maritime reference to all the sunken ships over hundreds of years . But we often h...

I broke my right hand
So, I broke my right hand in a non bike related incident.
So now I have a 2015 PCX in the garage in the peak of summer in one of the most beautiful biking towns in the world. It will be almost two months till I`m able to ride.

Re: Dropped my new PCX
I'm feeling much better after taking the PCX out on a mission yesterday. Did the first freeway trip. Did a trip to pick up a cheque and the to the bank etc. The PCX felt great moving through traffic on congested roads as well as freeway cruising. My last bike was a Suzuki GSXR 750. The PCX was so mu...

Where are you located Daddy cool? I`m in Cape Town ,South Africa The panel prices vary from region to region. It's cheaper to get parts from Japan or Thailand than the uk. Shop around, but check the dealer prices to give yourself a reference point. I believe the panel prices in the us are quite goo...

Dropped my new PCX
My heart is broken. My daughter just tipped my brand new PCX and damaged the pearl white paint and plastic with deep scratches. Only slight mirror abrasion and of coarse , scratched brake lever. I feel sick. I no longer has a pristine PCX.
Is it possible to get that paint for repair?

2015 Headlights
I just did my first little night ride. The LED headlights are quite bright and visibility and clarity is good. There was a slight drizzle and I got home with dry knees. Something that used to irritate me on my superbike. I live in an area with no street lamps so it was very effective.
