It's not a side entrance - it's a shed and it's not quite wide enough.
I went for the higher screen because I ride all year round. It makes such a difference in winter.

Happy end to a sad story
My 2015 PCX125 was stolen recently. Thieves came to my house and used boltcutters on the padlock chaining the bike down to my driveway. Ten days later the bike was found, being ridden by some worthless little scrote about 15 miles away on the other side of the city. The ignition and all the plastics...

Re: Weather/Wind Protection with Stock Windscreen & Front Co
I had a tall screen here in Uk. It broke at a service (nothing to do with the servicing garage, nosiree, no sir, just one of them coincidences when a main dealer meets a THIRD PARTY ADD-ON). Ahem. You know what? UK winter weather is typically in the -1C to + 10C range. I notice the difference from n...

Re: Idle Stop
It works for me no problem. I usually have it on but when I get into heavy stop-start traffic I turn it off - like JetPilot says, it can't be good to be constantly stopping and restarting.

I probably wouldn't be using a PCX for my getaway vehicle !!GeorgeSK wrote:What about when you rob a bank? Do you want your REAL license plate number on there?

I'm with Iceman - I commute every day unless it's snowing.
I've been down to -3C in the last week or so. Lowest I've been was a very cold winter in 2011(?) when it was down to -10C, although I was on a Kwak ER6N back then. I'm in northern England.

Re: rideing the pcx in the rain?
I also agree with Iceman. I ride all year round in Northwest England without any real problem. You just need to accelerate and brake in straight lines, watch your surface for white lines, leaves, potholes & such, and don't lean into your turns. It shouldn't need saying, but the PCX is not a perf...

I'm in Bury (just 5 miles from Rochdale, dear reader) so if I see a flourescent striped PCX on my travels I'll give you a wave!

Re: New Member from the UK - Looking to Buy, A
I ride all-year round in the UK. One of the biggest favours you can do yourself is to get a larger windshield (and there are plenty of threads on here about which one to buy). As others have said, you'll need GOOD gloves for the winter, and probably a decent set of waterproofs as well to go over you...

Re: FORZA OR PCX 2016 VERSIONS
I agree with this. There's a Forza 125 I regularly encounter on my commute and my PCX 125 can't live with it when setting off from the lights. Both bikes are 2015 models.gn2 wrote:Maybe felt it but it absolutely isn't.Duke82 wrote:it felt slower up to 30 mph
The Forza accelerates harder and is much faster.

Little Milestone
This morning my PCX's readout clicked over and read 140.1MPG (UK Gallons)
I'm 5'3 and 140lb. My commute involves a lot of riding at 35mph - it's ideal for the 125.
Yes, yes, I know that the readout isn't the most reliable and perhaps is a tad optimistic but still, 140 MPG !!

Re: Fabbri high windshield PCX 2015
I have a Fabbri on my 2015 PCX. It made such a difference compared to the stock screen. I'm only 5 feet 3 inches so this screen protects me right up past my eyeline. I don't know anything about other screens but I've done a full winter with this one and it's brilliant. http://www.hondapcx.org/downlo...

My EDC consists of a UK legal knife (aka "a small one"), a phone and credit card. It should be noted that in the UK you generally need to make an effort to to be more than 5 miles from civilisation. If you're fit enough to start replacing belts then you're likely fit enough to walk to get ...

I had a Kawasaki ER6 for several years. 650cc, capable of motorway speeds all day long, reasonably upright riding position, fairing or naked versions available... good all round bike for those on a budget.

Re: Cheap lesson: add me to the crash list?
I've came off once at motorway speed thanks to some black ice I didn't see. I went skidding across the carriageway on my back like a pebble skimmed across a lake. Without full gear I would have been a smear on the tarmac. In reality I got nothing but a few bruises.

Re: PCX Long Term Reviews
I'm 6 months and 1500 miles into my 2015 PCX. I commute ten slow urban miles each way in almost any weather except snow. The bike is claiming an average 132.5mpg (UK), and there have been no performance issues whatsoever. I can see a couple of spots of rust here & there but that's to be expected...

Re: uk members
What are you going to do with a 150 in the UK that you couldn't do with a 125? The 150 isn't going to be a joy to ride 60+mph and anything else the 125 can cope with.

Best advice I ever had as a rider ... you are responsible for everything in a 100 yard radius, whether you are supposed to be or not.

Re: Best trip average km/l or mpg
I'm getting 47km/Ltre or 132.5 miles/gallon (UK). My daily commute is less than ten miles of urban stop-start and I rarely get above 35mph. I think those fuel consumption figures are phenomenal.
