Has anyone tried "FLATOUT"? It's supposed to be added to the tire BEFORE a puncture, to seal it if it does happen. ??

HA! I just hit 20,000 and thought it was a lot for a 150 scooter!

Re: Crampbuster
I have them on my larger bikes, and have put one on my PCX. It is not very useful when running around town, so I roll it around out of the way. I found that there is a tendency to rest your hand on it when starting, idling, and low speed riding - all of which are not good on a twist-and-go. It can ...

Re: oil filter
Thanks... oil change I can handle, but the spring driven screen check seemed unnecessary. I've yet to change the "crush" washer... guess if it starts leaking it's time.

oil filter
Tried to search for "oil filter", and for some reason it ignored the word "filter"! Anyway, such a weird little filter in the PCX150... I've got about 11,000 miles on my scooter, and the filter always looks clean when I do an oil change (though the rubber gasket is a bit scrunche...

Re: pot hole danger?
I think its all relative as to how fast you are going. Some on here do 60-70 mph without regard.. I would hate to see what happens when they hit a decent sized pothole at that speed. Its all relative take it slow and all will be good.. I use a GPS with "Avoid Highways" ticked. The fun is ...

pot hole danger?
Just curious... I've been really cautious about hitting a pot hole with my PCX 150... wondering if anyone here has ever actually gone down from a pot hole hit, or if it's generally a big bang shock but the bike will keep on moving?? (Of course, I have hit a few small holes with no problem)

Re: Hit 10,000 miles PCX150 odometer
10,000 miles is not that much - but it also depends on the year and how long you've had it :) I commute 9 and a bit miles each way to work and that is not far by any standard, but it's still roughly 4500 miles/yr so someone doing a 20 mile commute to work would get close to 10,000 in just 1 year. W...

Hit 10,000 miles PCX150 odometer
I recently hit 10,000... when I had my bike inspected the guy couldn't believe I had that many miles. Are there a lot of you with that many on a PCX150? Who's got the most out there?

Re: How-To: Swap the Rear Suspension
maddiedog~! you saved my butt with this generous tutorial... my neighbor works on bikes and ATVs, said he could replace my shocks for $40... then he got halfway in and wanted to blow me off! Didn't know how to get the pan out, but I printed out your instructions and he did it really fast. Cost me $8...

Glad it worked out for you... surprised that the cut one works, as you're 2" taller than me. Did you use the kit?

Re: Givi 323 tall windscreen
I have to sell my cut down GIVI Tall 323DT. It was perfect for me (5'8") until I added a padded seat! So I had to install an uncut one.
Cut one is starting bid on eBay $95

Re: Seat change
They recommended the S3, and they were able to include a backrest (was worried there was enough solid area) which is awesome! It's already way better the stock seat, and it's supposed to take some time to break in (at least 500 miles - I haven't had a chance to break in yet). I'd tried to modify the...
