Re: DO NOT BUY FROM YUMINASHI
They sound like they might not be very good at multiple parts orders, but I ordered a GATES POWERLINK V-BELT (PCX125 (NO LED) / CLICK125 (NO LED) / PCX150 LED) 23100-KWN-000 On the 23rd of Feb and in turned up today with no po problems plus it was about a 1/3 of the price of buying one in the UK I h...

Re: Spring has sprung!
Well, I am done with the wiring on the headlight assembly, and now I am waiting for two led bulbs for the lower sockets that are suppose to be brighter than the ones I have installed. They should arrive tomorrow. Then I can start to put the bike back together, just in time for Spring. Here is what ...

Re: Spring has sprung!
Thanks guys
I’m just waiting for the snow to melt so I can get back on the PCX, not being able to use it this week has really brought home what a god send it is. On average my PCX must save me an hour and a quarter on my commute daily.
Bring on the sun

Re: Spring has sprung!
Spring isn’t in the UK yet It was snowing hard this morning so I took the van to work, took me nearly 50mins longer than it does by PCX :( Although on the way home I did have the fun of recreating the Millennium Falcons jump to light speed by putting high beam on and driving fast into the snow blizz...

Handlebars and Levers swap
As part of tidy the PCX up I’ve fitted new handlebars and levers. The handlebars are Renthal superbike high that I trimmed down each side by 15mm, got some rubber pipe that fitted inside then stuck a flange m6 nut on the far end pushed the pipe’s inside each end of the bars as this enabled to fit th...

Re: PCX125 finally gets some much deserved love
Very very nice. I give you credit for skill and thoroughness. I would have stopped with the new engine. And, far from replacing the old plastic with new, I would have stripped the machine naked (and am deeply pondering doing this to mine) just for the sake of easier maintenance. As it is my plastic...

Re: Chinese Convertor
Truly loving the new scoot. Not feeling the need to carry spare parts and complete tool set under the seat is very much worth the cost of the PCX. Still getting used to the ride compared to my other one but all in time. My new motto PCX Peace Comes with eXcellence. Haha love the motto, PCX is a qua...

Re: PCX the USA from one end to the other anyone?
When I was at college my best friend and I worked at a Pizza shop delivering pizzas on Honda C90’s. The boss let us borrow them for 2 weeks in summer so we rode from Swindon to Nice in France it was almost a thousand miles each way, We did it in 3 days there and 2 days back the only bad thing was al...

Re: New PCX 2018 tire size
I’m running standard size Bridgestones I really like how fluid the bike handles.
I guess wider tyres might slow the steering up a bit but I like it as it is and with counter steering it feels well planted in corners.
Aesthetic reasons I can see why people prefer wider tyres

Anti-squish is a noble goal, but may be quixotic. https://www.revzilla.com/common-tread/australian-study-looks-at-why-car-drivers-pull-in-front-of-you-on-your-motorcycle It appears that we may as well be wearing Harry Potter's invisibility cloak. Still - you HAVE to try... It’s a interesting articl...

Stolen parts
During my recent search for a replacement engine, I was staggered by the amount of very cheap engines I was offered. But when I asked for proof of ownership I was met with silence or unbelievable stories of selling it for mate and he had got it stolen and recovered hence why the engine number had be...

Re: Noise from behind me
I had the clutch bearings go on my PCX Numbers replaced numbers 18,19 and 11 although I think 11 was the culprit but thought I’d do them all. This was at about 15k miles As to helmets always been a FF guy after seeing a mate full off his scooter with a open face one on and he put a hole through his ...

Re: Water getting into air filter
If you unscrew the filter cover, just the cross head screws you’ll have access to the filter. Then you can either dry it out with a hair dryer or leave some where warm in the house overnight to dry out completely. I’ve had water in mine before but that was from riding through a puddle that turned ou...
