Re: Cruising in the countryside of Portugal
You'll look back on this journey some day and be really glad you traveled when you had the chance, resources, and good health! :D Being a freelance photographer, not much work in these covid times, so I have to do it on the cheap and avoid going abroad. And better do it while my body still can hand...

Re: Cruising in the countryside of Portugal
The tour will consist of 7 days, so I don't intend in cruising during night: 1 day until the beginning of the old national road (N2 road), 4 to 5 days of doing the main road and then 1 or 2 going back home. Also I will carry a tent and bag and will do some camping by night (be it official camping sp...

Cruising in the countryside of Portugal
I bought my PCX mainly for daily work, but been discovering the joys of longer rides.
In preparation for a journey that will cross the entire country (luckily it's not that big of a country) I've been doing some bigger rides than my daily 20/30kms.
This one was 350kms total.

Re: Greetings from Portugal
Nice pictures! I have read in multiple threads that shocks are a welcome improvement. I have not put enough miles on mine to notice a need for a change, but I imagine I will get there soon enough! I guess Illinois streets are better than ours. Here you have tarmac in most places, but also lots of p...

Re: Greetings from Portugal
Well, if you upgraded your shocks, you are going to have to consider upgrading those on your girlfriend's bike now as well. If she rides yours at all after this she will want the same thing on hers...and let's face it, new adjustable shocks make a world of difference in the ride comfort. You know w...

Re: Greetings from Portugal
Last week upgraded to YSS shocks, what a difference.
As I'm a cheapskate, I did the work myself, so all in all, just cost me 70€ (around 85usd)
Guess now I'll have to take new pictures to reflect my bike

Re: legs cover
The installation of the termoscud looks a bit cumbersome, requiring to screw things to the bike, but also seems to offer the most protection. We have mainly good weather here, and rain only for about 3 months of the year. Just get some decent riding gear. My thoughts also, I guess I'll give her a ne...

legs cover
My girlfriend rides her PCX everyday, rain or shine, so I'd like to get her a leg cover for her birthday, as she has shown interest in this kind of kit. Been looking at the official Honda and the Tucano Urbano termoscud The Honda one seems like a small apron for your legs only, the tucano urbano cov...

Re: Greetings from Portugal
Very nice photos - great composition. Also tough to go wrong with such a good looking model. Kinda hard to believe they are quick shots - I would think that a tripod was involved. If those were from a point-and shoot camera, I WANT ONE OF THOSE!!! No tripod, but a makeshift one, with a small bench ...

Re: Greetings from Portugal
Well if she had not been cared for, YOU have done a lovely job spiffing her up. Congratulations - you should enjoy the ride for quite a while. And welcome aboard! it looks good, but I'll need to change the disc from the front brake, as it seems slightly bent. At least there's some sound coming from...
