Re: Headphones
Another factor in my decision is I am committed to getting a full size windshield as a well as hand protectors from the wind and flying pebbles and bugs. So that alone will but down on the wind noise.

Re: Pizza Carrier Rack?
I saw, somewhere, a pizza case that is suppose to keep the pizza hot while being transported. It should be easy enough to strap on the back of the bike on that rack. https://www.webstaurantstore.com/choice-insulated-pizza-delivery-bag-red-nylon-18-x-18-x-5-holds-up-to-2-16-or-1-18-pizza-boxes/124PI...

Re: Pcx hybrid
As a former hybrid owner I am concerned about how this will add weight needing a battery to become a hybrid.
Also quite frankly I like the idea of it being as is; a fuel support vehicle.

Scooters in Jamaica
Jamaica driving is insane by itself but saw a lot of residents on scooters doing insane maneuvers. Makes where I live look like a walk in the park.

Re: Starting age
Started on motorcycles in 1974 (age 10), first scooter 2013 (age 58), still ride motorcycles but I should have also bought a scooter 30 years ago. The math doesn't add up. Did you mean 1964 instead of 1974, or age 48 instead of 58 in 2013? He's right for if you were 58 in 2013 that means you were b...

Re: Riding/ parking on gravel
New rider here :D had my pcx 125 for little over a month now, love it. I’m moving to a housing complex with a large deep gravel driveway. I’m nervous about attempting to ride over this especially with the pcx’s relatively skinny tires. Anyone have any experience of riding the pcx over deep gravel? ...

Re: Headphones
Due to the sound of my Ducati and the speeds I went at, I seriously doubt that wind noise will be much of an issue on a scooter.

I contacted a store in CT by the name of Libby's and they are completely sold out on 2018 models. They are hoping the 2019's come soon.

Lift up helmet, trainers, shorts and t shirt. Usually riding single handed to work with cup of coffee in left hand  My risk, my choice, what happens happens. Wear what you like just be fully aware of the consequences. 8) I was considering also wearing my Birkenstocks since I don't need to cha...

Awesome, but still the issue of only one dealer and I have to say the Honda has a bad a$$ look to it.gn2 wrote:Vespas are also available with 125, 150 and 300cc engines.
Then again I really like the look of the Vespa. Damn you!
Well I have plent of time to decide.

Pizza Carrier Rack?
Looking for a good platform setup to anchor a pizza box. I decided not to get the helmet box for just don't like how it looks and hangs past the back wheel. But a multi-bar rack like thing where I can lay a pizza box on and use bungee cords sounds appealing. 1. Is there something like this? 2. If ye...

Yeah that is a great idea and going to also add a disc lock and carry around a chain when there is a good place to anchor it. 268lbs isn't that hard to pick-up.

Re: GoPro Mount Suggestions
I'm toying with the idea of a GoPro HERO5 Black to be used with my 2017 PCX 150. I think I'd like to do a Ram mount to the handle bars. What Ram mount, for those that use them, have you found works the best on the PCX with the GoPro products? A model no. for the mount will help also. Helmet. Having...

Another thing on my list of gear to buy is headphones. Curious is anyone else doing headphones? If yes, what brand/model? I am leaning towards the sporty Beats due to the loop and how it can hang off your ear. Don't get me wrong, making/taking phones calls isn't what drives me to getting this, but r...

Re: Gear and Putzing Around Town
Also leaning towards buying the PCX in 2019 and trying to get a 2020 model. Hoping there will be something special due to the new decade. Re: Comparison to other scooters
Hi, I'm looking at entering the scooter world after deciding my current motorcycle is too much for me. Usage would be riding around town and back roads (55 mph). I've been looking around at different dealers and used sites and it seems the Honda PCX 150 and Yamaha SMax are easiest to find here. The...

Re: Pcx hybrid
I saw one with self stability. The person was standing straight up on it, it self-adjusted to stay level and it also followed him around as he walked.
Technology IMHO is getting out of control but I guess this is progress; maybe I am just too old-school which is kind of ironic since I am in IT.
