Re: oil level
You have to drain the bottom and oil filter to empty it completely. Also ALWAYS fill by the dipstick. Don't just dump in what capacity says. The engine dumps the excess oil into the intake.

Re: Exhaust systems for PCX 150
I don think a quieter exhaust exists than the stock exhaust. The Takegawa silent sport exhaust is a little louder than stock but is still nice and quiet. It's quiet enough that on the highway the wind noise covers it completely. The Takegawa exhausts (there are three different ones) all increase pow...

I was reffering to car racing engines. For example small block chevy and ford v8 engines.

The ride would have been fun but I was installing a new radiator in a friends car. Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable ride.

Don't kid yourself. As long as the valve springs are tight and won't start to float before redline you'll be able to rev hard and fast. Racing engines use 2" intake and 1.6" exhaust valves for a reason. More air.

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
First, I am running the daytona vario on my pcx 150. Second the daytona vario comes without weights but uses the factory 20x15 size. My suggestion is to use 12g dr pulley sliders. Second, the stock vario ramps don't extend all the way to the outside so it hinders performance considerably. Third, ins...

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Glue the ramps in with hondabond ht or black rtv.
The ramps provide different powerbands. The black ramps are of more midrange and the silver ramps are for more top end power. With the silve ramps the variator is not in lockup until 65mph or so.

Re: Pcx Yuminashi Chainsaw 164!
Nah, don't worry about it. Between my father and myself we have six Porsches. We bought every single one as a project car. Anyway. I'm very familiar with the coating when it's implemented properly. It is a truly beautiful thing. Last compression check I did was on an '88 944 turbo S. With 142,000 mi...

Re: PCX 150 on the interstate
Absolutely it does. Also upgrading the fork springs helps with freeway stability quite a bit. It gets rid of that floating over bridge expansion joints feeling. You feel like your on a bike instead of a Honda Spree.

Sorry Vlad my mistake lol. I'm going RZ Racing 175cc! Nikasil cylinder! Nikasil is what they use in race engines.

Re: PCX 150 on the interstate
With my mods i get 83mpg with oversized Pirelli Daiblo scooter tires running 65+ mph on the freeways here in KC. I ride from Independence to Gladstone almost daily on 435 and also out to Desoto KS with no issues. It took a SP Takegawa silent sport exhaust and upsizing the intake tube from 1.25"...
