My UK LED model came with the LCD set to km/h and litres - had to change it to mp/h ad mpg. Probably set for the european market when shipped and not UK as others posted the same some years back.

Literally I can't believe why there's people like this
The PCX will reach 140km/h, IF you only weigh 30kg and/or you are quite small. Don't forget also to mention if go downhill, without wind against you, with lots of time and finally over-revving and incidentally... killing the engine
For god sake, there's a lot of people who "fakes" the top speed in a very unrealistic situations... you can see them in Youtube uploading shitty videos generally, because yes... There's a lot of people (principally youngsters) who have the pcx as the first motorbike, and they tend to believe they have an intergalactic spaceship "capable of going at speed of light". Nevertheless the experienced ones knows that pushing a tiniwiny 125cc engine, with 12hp in the best scenario to 140khm, is either killing the engine very very fast or... simply impossible.
Cheers
PD: Personally, I have reached 120kmh in the Autobahn, behind a truck who was cutting the wind for me, but that was all about it. I drove about 1km then I started to feel guilty and yeah, personally I dont like to go over 100, because of the reasons mentioned above. Certainly is capable of more, but if I wanted to go faster, I'd rather buy another bike with a bigger engine.

Y'all are missing the big picture here. The troll never said it was on the road. Tethered to the 21, and dropped from a height of 5000 feet, it'll hit 85mph EASY all day EVERYDAY!

Ah yes, mine also hits 150 km/h (that's a whopping 93 mph) when I have it on the center stand and go WOT.

Funny stuff.

2013 PCX will hit 74 mph absolute tops, *after* upgrading rollers to 13g (and perhaps another mod or two?).
Any modified PCX *after* 2013s will top out around 70 mph due to shorter gearing.

Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
I've tried three different weight combinations of Dr. Pulley sliders and have been able to reach a consistent 72 mph per gauge and GPS. I dialed it back an ounce to an 18/20g combo for the original 19g weight because I didn't like the low end bog the 20g caused. I can still maintain an honest 70/71 mph with my 185# and the Puig full windshield. And, I'm averaging 80mpg with plenty of freeway use.
There's no way this bike is going to hit 85 with the stock variator. The 19g setup I have allows me to resistance limit without bouncing off the rev limiter, which was my goal for freeway speed.

LOL. My 2022 goes 69 mph (indicated), WOT, downhill. There is no way anyone is hitting 85 mph on a PCX 150 without mods. My Vespa GTS300 didn't hit 85 mph.May the members of this forum be truly grateful for this constructive contribution to the discussion.

Re: Just need to say I'm blown away that people doubt and refuse to believe the 21 can hit 85mph
This was an interesting read on this thread. But my wife and I both have 2021's with taller (Honda, not aftermarket) "touring" windscreens on them. I can verify that the 2021 PCX can hit 65 mph, but not with much of a headwind. I would say 60-62 mph is more of a practical "usable" top speed that it can hit pretty reliably. 65 mph is no-wind conditions, level ground, and the bike's engine seems to be wound out a little past the top end of its powerband. Even going into a slight hill will slow it back down to 60-62 mph with the taller windscreen, and it seems to hold that speed very well.

So my 2021 euro 5 125cc model with modified variator, different rollers, different exhaust and inlet modifications on a god down hill stretch with my fat..... erm....... persons sat on it will hit mid 70s and will happily hold 60 to 65 provided the head wind isn't to bad. These are on on the bikes speedo. On the GPS it's about 4% less on my bike.
I can quite happy provide footage off this from a gopro. So I'd love to know what specs your bikes at and how heavy you are kitted up because mine simply wouldn't do it as would hit the limiter first...
Oh and don't ride while smoking what ever it is you've been smoking as I seams to be good gear lmao

My 2018 can probably hit 100... if tied down in the bed of my Ridgeline... still Honda powered, tho, right?
Seriously, though, was that 85 downhill or drafting?
