Warning to those changing the gear/transmission oil.

Just changed the oil. Literally a 5 minute job. There was some swarf which you might be able to see but the oil was ok at 2,500 miles. It's so simple I'm just going to do it every time I change the oil

I know almost all of us bought a PCX for the fun and fuel economy (I got 110 MPG on the last tank) To keep it economical we also tend to do our own maintenance to keep costs down. In this case though, with regard to transmission oil, if I had that much trouble doing it I think I'd bite the bullet and take it to the dealer for service.

not here in Thailand - hundreds of places to get the bike serviced within a 5 mile radius of home, and no appaintlent needed - just rock up and they do it..

and cheap as chips......
