Re: Hi
Welcome David, Congratulations on your new Honda sir.
Please, we love to see new 2017 PCX's if you can post a picture or two. Perhaps even show some countryside or landmarks so we get an idea where you live because honestly here in the USA we don't know what is a passing switch and for the most part can't really pass anything anyway with only 150cc's
here is my PCX150

Re: Hi
Hi, welcome to the forums. I am not sure what you mean by a passing switch. Could you add your location (country is good enough) to your profile. It helps us help you.

Re: Hi
Hi back atcha David and welcome to our forum(s)!!
I'm puzzled and not sure what switch you're asking about. A switch to use before/while passing another vehicle? Flasher switch? What?
Please help us to help you, complete your profile by at least adding the country you're from. You can do this by following my easy directions found below
Yeah...I'm truly curious

Re: Hi
We've talked about that usage on here before. Lots of people flash highbeams as a way of saying "you go first." I avoid using a highbeam in that way because of the potential for miscommunication. YCMV [your country may vary]chicaboo wrote:It's a momentary switch to briefly flash the highbeam.
I would use it a lot since I flash my highbeam at cars when I approach intersections.

2013 PCX 150 [now an ex-bike, soon to be consigned to the bottom line of the sig]
2013 Silver Wing ABS (Black)
1971 BMW R75/5 (White)
Too many ex-bikes to list, and, besides, who really cares what we used to own?

Re: Hi
Same here in the USA..A momentary flash means there is a cop usually with a radar or laser gun ahead.chicaboo wrote:Yeah, in Australia it means there are police ahead, or fark off.Bash On! wrote:We've talked about that usage on here before. Here in Thailand it means that you are proceeding and coming through, and warns oncoming traffic of your intention to do so.easyrider wrote:Same here in the USA..A momentary flash means there is a cop usually with a radar or laser gun ahead.chicaboo wrote:Yeah, in Australia it means there are police ahead, or fark off.Bash On! wrote:We've talked about that usage on here before. One of our members recently posted an article which claimed that Thailand has the second most dangerous roads in the world. I don't know how accurate it is, but I often read of deadly head-on accidents. I wonder why.

I recently visited another part of the country that is more rural and I was stunned at the number of motorcycles I saw on country roads at night without headlights.

On one occasion during that trip, while driving a car, I pulled out to pass someone and when I got beside them, I noticed a bike coming straight at me, about 150 meters (yards) away.

Re: Hi
That does look like fun! I have some more questions.
1. Is the toggle action spring loaded or click lock?
2. Auto Flashing or manual?
3. Can switch be pulled out, removed and rewired without opening the control unit?

but, but isn't that what the stock switch can do now? "Flick it towards you to flash highbeam momentarily, switch it away from you to lock highbeam"chicaboo wrote:Same as most cars, Homie. Flick it towards you to flash highbeam momentarily, switch it away from you to lock highbeam.
If so this a silly mod
