Re: Why no Iridium in the 2014 Forza?
my 2014 has iridium !fish wrote:I was surprised to see that Honda had not fitted my 2014 Forza with an Iridium spark plug.
Denso and NGK both make great Iridiums - surely they make one which is a suitable alternate for the Forza?
A lot of new Japanese autos have them fitted OEM.

Re: Oil change light actually works
I found out that my Oil Change light actually works and is reasonably accurate. I have 25755 km on the 2014 Honda Forza. It is time to do an oil change and time to replace a spark plug. The oil change is cheap, the spark plug is expensive (Why ???) I should look in the book to see what else I shoul...

Re: Forza 300 - worried I bought a lemon!
Hahaha. I also have the 2014 Forza. It is a great bike. True they did have the minor problems you mentioned but once fixed it will give many years of trouble free service. Honda is aware of the oil leak problem and I think everyone here on the forum that has had that problem has had it fixed under ...

Re: mph vs rpm
That is an ok reading for a Forza 300. I've fitted a new belt recently and the numbers are the same, the new belt has 2000 miles on it. Just before my last belt exploded at 26,500 miles, at 70mph the rpm was around 7800. The dealer said they changed it at the 16,000 mile service but I'm fairly cert...

Re: Forza plastic
I have taken off some of my plastics. It is a strange process. There are screws you see and some are hidden. Parts of the panels are held on by spring loaded pinch points which need to be gently pried apart providing you took out the correct screws. I just went slowly and shook everything to see wh...

Re: Warning: Forza 300 discs and pads
I request this be made sticky. The service schedule is as follows. 600 miles 8000 miles 16000 miles 24000 miles etc At the 8000 mile service Honda require the pads be inspected. They should always be replaced as they cannot make it to the 16000 service. There are numerous reports of pads failing ar...
