PCX did not even try to turn over after 3mo on battery charger
My scooter has been on a trickle charger for 3 months. Scooter did not want to start, have no idea why really either. My theory is just that the battery which I think is still original from 2015 just really needs to be swapped out. It was left connected to a trickle charger, but when I tried to star...

Is changing final drive oil every 2 years really necessary?
Manual says 24k miles / 2 yrs.
Is changing final drive oil every 2 years really necessary on a bike that doesn't get a lot of miles? (eg. 2k miles per year)
Just realized mine hasn't been done in close to 4 years now. Should I go ahead and change it?

Is this normal? Removed oil filter screen and found a hole and part of the threads missing
Please see attached It looks like oil collects in here. If i put my hand in the hole there, its like a little cut-out. Not sure if this is normal.

Small storage area near dash will no longer close.
Please see attached picture. It doesn't seem to catch anymore when you try to shut it so it just stays open. Any idea how to fix?

Problems after removing front wheel for rotor replacement
I'm not the most mechanically inclined, so bear with me. I want to make sure I didn't mess something up here. Don't want my wheel to fall off. When putting the wheel back on I noticed one side would not tighten on the wheel bolt. Please watch this video for further explanation. I'm not sure if this ...

Re: Back tire has a slow leak I can't find. What to do?
Put your bike on the centre stand rotate the tire while spraying soapy water on the the tire and bead-look for bubbles. if that is where the leak is take to a tire shop. Put a little spit on your finger and place it on the valve stem- if it bubbles there try tighting or replace I assume this is the...

Back tire has a slow leak I can't find. What to do?
I think my back tire has a slow leak I can't find. After one week it loses about 7-8psi of pressure while my front tire loses none. These are Michelin City Grip btw. I've tried locating the source but no luck. Is this something that is repairable or will I need to replace the tire? Will a normal tir...

I know there is one under the seat, one near the key hole, and another on the back (on the sticker) are they any other VIN locations?

Re: Windshield or not?
I'm using a medium height windshield, I can still see the road and it prevents the air from hitting me straight on the chest. Wind can be exhausting and I don't smell like road dust when I arrive at the office anymore. I believe a more taller windshield would confuse me too. 20446379_16117526621909...

Re: Does a heavy tall windshield effect low speed turning?
I have never had a problem with mine, though have a taller windshield will make quick turns something you have to watch the mirrors with. When I purchased my tall Givi windshields they had the option with them that allowed me to move my mirror stems about an inch or two outward. This allows the bik...

Does a heavy tall windshield effect low speed turning?
I have several different windshields which I have been rotating out, trying to find the one I like the best. It could be placebo, but I've noticed when I put either the stock meter cover back on or the small sport windshield I have, the bke seems to want to turn on a dime and with the taller heavier...

How to perform a compression test?
Either the bike seems a bit slower acceleration wise or I'm just more used to the power after owning it for a year. What are the steps for performing a compression test and does it require ripping all the panels off?

Teach me how to carry things on the PCX.
(not with a top box) Occasionally I'll take the cage because I need to carry something. Sometimes the thing isn't even that big (like a medium sized package that won't fit in my top box or under seat storage). I've seen enough in my trips in S.E. Asia, so I now it is possible, I'm just wondering, wh...

Honda NC750X DCT... how does it compare to a PCX?
Obviously, this is a bit of a larger bike, but marketed toward the commuter/urban segment. It looks like a great machine that would also do great on long highway trips. Has anyone ridden one? How is low speed maneuverability in a city environment? Easy to filter on, etc? Is it an enjoyable bike to r...

Dipstick shows low oil on one side, but fine on the other?
I've tried reading the dipstick several times, and cleaning it and one side shows the oil between the marks. the other side shows it barely touching the crossthatched area. Is the oil level fine if just one side is between the marks? Or do both sides need to be? Yes I have been following the instruc...

Re: New windshield is hitting one of my mirrors.. solutions?
In Chicago? I thought lane splitting was only allowed in California. Well, good luck. Technically not legal, but very well tolerated within city limits. Unless you're flying past people and being wreckless, cops aren't going to bother. They have much better things to do here. Without lane filtering...

Re: New windshield is hitting one of my mirrors.. solutions?
Buy some mirror extenders. They move the mirror stalks outward about 1.5" to 2". https://www.luckybike.com/motorcycle-mirror-riser-extenders Mel, I appreciate the reccomendation, but I am not looking to extend my mirrors out any further due to lane splitting concerns. I ended up ordering ...
