Re: Noise on back wheel or clutch
it growls when you spin the back wheel backwards it is more than likely the clutch bearing. Also note that the rear brake is a drum brake, and if your brake has worn down your wheel could wobble some. Have the brake shoes checked, and adjust them as needed.[/quote]There's a wear marker for the rear ...

Complete Clutch / driven face from 2014 fit a 2011??
Hi all
Does anyone know if the clutch from 2014 fit 2011 as want to change bearings on mine but don't want to be without a bike.
Managed to find a clutch for a 2014 for cheap
So I was going to put new bearing into that and swap over when done

Re: Noisy engine noise when accelerating..?
What year is your bike? 2012? For my 2013 model it is cheaper to replace the assembly that includes the clutch bearings, because pressing bearings out and in takes time and is work that is usually sent out. Clutch bearing.jpg 18 and 19 are the problems. The assembly is #8 itself (23205-kwn-640) 201...

I have a 52l box sitting at home,
Can the bike hold the weight?
I think box on its own is about 4/5kg

Re: Noisy engine noise when accelerating..?
You don't have a tablet? I have a printed manual, but when I want to follow some of the "How-to" pages on this site I bring my tablet down to the basement and put it on a table or stool so that I can refer to the pictures. Tablets a cheap enough. Many people have them instead of a compute...

Re: Noisy engine noise when accelerating..?
It actually runs still? Ok, here is a "battle plan" for fixing the bike. Do clutch BEARING first. While in there, have them change the belt and rollers. Next, the back wheel bearing. In fact, make sure they check that rear brake at the same time. If the wheel bearing is bad then it is pos...

Re: Noisy engine noise when accelerating..?
So, in answer to the YouTube videos: Steering head Bearings, Wheel bearings, clutch BEARING. Was that bike abused or just caught in a flood? Either of those would do it. Start from the front and replace every BEARING, and use lots of good grease. Don't forget the center stand. I haven't got money t...

Re: Noisy engine noise when accelerating..?
To be honest
I think I got done over when I bought it
I don't have anyone to help me when buying a bike.
If I had the money
Would sell on and buy a better condition one

Re: Noisy engine noise when accelerating..?
I’m starting to wonder if our group’s good nature has attracted some trolls. If not - in this case - take it back where you bought it. Not a troll just bought the bike second hand and first bike It is just before it pulls off Thanks Tommyawee for not taking offense. There's been numerous vague trou...
